Meals and Nutrition

At St. Andrews Nursery we know that a varied and nutritionally balanced diet is essential to every child’s development and active participation during their time at nursery and home. Breakfast is  between 8.30am - 9.00am a selection of healthy cereals, toast, fresh fruit, milk and water are on offer. A healthy snack and drink is offered during the morning and midafternoon sessions. Lunch is at 12.00pm and is a packed lunch from home. A light snack is offered to those children who are still here at 4.30pm.

We accommodate special dietary needs such as nut allergies and dairy or wheat intolerance. Your child’s Key Person will be available to talk to you to ensure that your child’s dietary requirements are being met. Water is available throughout the day.
